Alternative Film Awards by TK TrichoKare

On 16 November 2014, I attended the TrichoKare Alternative Film Awards which provided the alternative platform for talented individuals and the young to express their creativity and showcase their skills in film-making. Proudly presented by TrichoKare, the theme for the Alternative Film Awards reflected TrichoKare's mission to enhance its client's image and confidence with trichological products and European herbal hair remedy. Based on the theme, " I deserve to look good and feel great." The campaign ran from July to October 2014. It was open to Open and Student Categories. It has garnered hundreds of entries from professional film-makers to students from NUS, NTU, SMU, MDIS & more. Finally, from 12 finalists to 8 winners were chosen to receive attractive cash and prizes worth up to $20,000. 

The prize-giving finale was held on 16 November with presence of our esteemed judges at B1 Atrium of Cathay Cineleisure Orchard. The event saw some sharing from the participants, film-screening, mini games to engage the crowd and popcorn complementing the showdown!
