F&N Sparkling Drinks presents Singapore Dance Delight Vol. 2

Vibrant, bold and colourful are 3 words that describe the 5 hours I spent watching the preliminaries of Singapoe Dance Delight Vol. 2 by F&N Sparkling Drinks.

I am a big fan of F&N Sparkling Drinks as they come in flavours like Outrageous Orange, Smashing Strawberry, Cool Ice Cream Soda, Groovy Grape, Flashy Fruitade, Cheeky Cherryade, Zesty Zappel and the latest addition to the range - 'F&N' Blazt. If only they came in such huge sizes like those I saw @Scape!

There were 1000+ youths gathered on 26th February 201
1,Saturday,to catch 40 groups up from last year's 28 groups. The competition last year set the bar really high for this year's competition
Having been there and then myself, I would say there was certainly outrageous outfits, cool choreography and groovy dance routines. I felt like dancing to the music as the atmosphere @ Scape was simply contagious!
I truly felt like a reporter/journalist for the day as I experience horrible scares like almost tripping and falling flat on my face(that would be totally unglamourous) who knows, my picture might make headline of the day like "Blogger fell flat on face and had to be sent
to hospital while dancers continue the competition."

I
salute and have the utmost respect for all reporters and journalists alike. Imagine they have to be at the scene whether rain or shine and jostle with the crowd and position themselves at different angles to capture the best photographs of the event.

The rain almost marred the event as
crew for the event patiently used cloth to wipe the stage and the cleaning motley crew was also called in to wipe the floor of the event venue. However, the spirits of the competitiors and 1000+ youths was very much effervescent as they cheered and screamed as they downed lots of F&N Sparkling Drinks that were available readily and F&N gave out wet wipes in cute mini keychain holders that you could attach to your bag. How thoughtful! These were the two most important items that a dancer needs-wet towels to wipe their sweat and drinks to hydrate after countless practices. I swear the dancersmade the routines look so easy that I almost contemplated signing up for O' School street dance classes right there and then!
The judges for that very fateful evening was Kenny Low,Founder, O' School, Ryan Tan, Creative Director, O' School and Hu Pei Zhen aka An An from Da' Street S
oul (Funkamania 2006 Champions)
Thank you F&N Sparkling Drinks for being the presenting sponsor of Singapore Dance Delight Vol. 2 and I had lots of fun at this competition that celebrates youth and
dance!!

The Eastern Restaurant at Centrepoint,#01-57

You have not tried the one of the best custard buns and xiao long baos until you have been to Eastern Restaurant.

A day after I did food tasting at Eastern Restaurant,I received a call from a long-lost friend, asking: "How are you acquainted with Eastern Restaurant?"
My response: "I wished I discovered the gem of Eastern Restaurant earlier because they serve one of the best xiao long baos and their service is wonderful!"
To which my friend responded: "Ya, ya,I am their regular customer!"

Now, I found my long lost friend and a new meeting place for tea with her-The Eastern Restaurant.

For all those ladies out there who care for their skin, you must try their first and only "Collagen La-Mian" and best of all,the price of only $8.80.

Collagen gives you better skin and stronger bones and joints.
It's definitely a value meal-good for health and delicious!!
This is a definite must order that when I am out with friend.

Some of the dishes that I have tried and would recommend are:

1) The xiao long baos of course!! I could easily have 3 baskets of these
anytime.

2)Custard Buns-they are oozing with hot custard and once you pop one in your mouth, you simply cannot stop!

3)Fried Shanghai Rice Cake-one word will suffice-it's simply DELICIOUS!

Adhesive Collagen,Hyaluronic Acid, Silk Essence and Yeast Extract

Excellent concealing power can cover pores and dull skin; instantly gives you a
brighter complexion

SPF 32 PA++
Sunscreen Protection against UV damage to skin

Continuous moisture reduces oil secretion to create a sense of Perfect Bare Make-up all day!

Apply after toner and it will do the remaining steps, including a veil of foundation finish!
Especially good for a busy morning or if you are in a rush!

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Usually, I use BB creams from Korea so it was a refreshing change to a BB cream from Japan.

Kanebo Freshel Moist Lift BB Cream has the properties of moisturing lotion, beautifying liquid and sunscreen with light makeup to cover up small flaws which can be used right after your toner.

The cream is light and moisturizing and provides coverage when applied. However, the shade is a bit too yellowish for my skin type.

This Japanese BB cream is more suitable for fair-medium skin with yellow undertones.

“I AM NUMBER FOUR”

If the movie title is anything to go by,well then,I am Number 14.
Why? It's simply because my birthday's on 14 February and I am turning....well,let's not go into all that.

So why should I win a pair of tickets to the preview screening of "I am Number Four?"
It is my birthday! And what better way to spend it and Valentine's Day at the hottest cinema in town(Orchard Cineleisure) and with my Valentine on my birthday which also happens to be the loveliest day of the month of February(Valentine's Day).

Okay, besides this reason, the movie "I am Number Four" is indeed a compelling movie to watch!
It's about John, a normal teenager, just like you and I,who goes to school everyday except that he has superhuman powers and three have being killed and John is Number Four. And he also falls in love...ahh...sweet..as for the ending of the movie, you have to watch it yourself.

Catch the trailer here!

Oh ya,before I forget, catch "I Am Number Four Movie starting from 24th February 2011 and join the official Disney Studios Singapore Facebook & Twitter page!” cos I did!

Happy Valentine's Day!
