HENRY'S CRIME-MOVIE REVIEW

I found the movie absolutely hilarious and too good to be true! But nevertheless,it sure entertained me with eye candy like Keanu Reeves. The movie teaches one certain values, like for instance, we may be drifting along life aimlessly without any purpose. We often need the wake up call to jolt us back to reality.

As a toll collector, Henry (Keanu Reeves) is a man seemingly without ambition, dreams or purpose. One day,he gets his wakeup call when all of a sudden, he becomes an unwitting participant in an ill-conceived bank heist. Rather than give up the names of the real culprits, Henry takes the fall and goes to jail. In jail, he befriends Max
(James Caan), a con artist who is so used to life in jail that he wants to just stay there. However, he helps Henry find his purpose and dream. Upon his release from jail. Henry finally finds his purpose. Having done the time, he decides he may as well do the crime. While chancing upon a tunnel passage through the theatre, he would be able to get to the vault. He finally manages to convince Max to file for his long overdue parole -- and then recruits his former cellmate to help stage a robbery. What happens? That's for you to find out. Just a little secret: Henry eventually finds his love of his life!

Check out what's steaming up at Toastbox!

I was considered one of the fortunate few to be able to taste the new menu from Toastbox.

I am in awe of Toastbox's R&D team, they are constantly innovating and thinking of ways to improve their menu in terms of different flavours of bread. On
that single day itself, I tried the Peanut Butter Ice Cream Thi
ck Toast, Kopi Ice Cream Thick Toast and Kaya Ice Cream Thick Toast. Each flavour is made from the finest ingredients and unique to Toast Box. And not only that, you can select the flavours of ice-cream that you want. And what's best is that they have no added preservatives, artificial colouring & flavouring.

The kaya ice cream thick toast was one of my favourites. I am a big fan of kaya and ice-cream. Can you imagine having both of my favourites on a dish? It was absolute heaven!! I probably gonna order 3 kaya ice cream with the thick toast in one sittin
g! Absolute delicious and sedap!!
Besides this, I tried their Tom Yum Garlic Thick Toast, Butter Milk Thick Toast, Butter Sugar Thick Toast,Floss Thick Toast,Hebi Hiam Thick Toast,Otah Thick Toast

Moreover, they do it with a heart. From 1-31 July 2011, Toast Box will be donating $0.10 to a charity organisation (Abilities Beyond Limitations & Expectations) for every first 4 new products sold.
You have got to check this website out: http://www.breadtalk.com/toastbox/promotions.php

I especially loved the Mango Aloe Vera and not forgetting the Pepsi Calamansi. After gorging myself silly on the different new flavours,it was best to wash it down with a huge cup of Mango Aloe Vera. I felt so healthy on that day!

SPONSORED POST:SHINE YOUTH FESTIVAL 2011-"ENOUGH TALK,JUST DO!"

Youths have all the energy and talent to shine! But I didn't know that there were platforms for them to showcase their talents and expend their energy. With a catchy phrase like "Enough Talk,Just Do!" definitely hypes up all the excitement in anticipation for the upcoming Youth Day on 4 July 2011! I can definitely say I am proud to be a youth, with all the events lined up for the Shine Youth Festival on 2 July 2011, what more could one ask? There was a beatboxing workshop, DJ Koflow Turntable workshop.Blonco Singapura performing...Did someone say pillow fight?? I,myself, decided to take part in the "Once Upon A Milkshake" eating competition, made it to the semi-final by gulping down 3 scoops of vanilla ice-cream, only to drop out in the finals of eating a brownie and 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream. It was indeed a fun-filled experience and I swore not to eat an ice-cream for at least a week.

A little background on Shine Youth Festival if you didn't know...it's in it 7th year and it featured a wide array of events such as a mega mascot parade, dance master classes, community service projects and a night concert with local and regional acts.

It was launched at *SCAPE in Orchard(and I am so glad that I was part of it) 4 levels at *SCAPE was transformed to hold 13 activities throughout the building which included a 1000 strong mascot parade from *SCAPE to Orchard Central, a launch concert at Playspace, the Singapore Street Festival's 10th Anniversary and an official chill-out corner by Kit Kat.

Youths was treated to a star-studded show filled with successful local acts like Derrick Hoh, Tay Kewei, JuzB and Jack & Rai.

It was definitely bigger and bolder and there was also COSMO Youth Mascot Parade 2011 whereby cosplayers of every genre from gaming, anime, manga, TV, movies will parade down Orchard Road to showcase their passion as well as raise funds for selected charities. The fantastic thing was that you can also try out more than 400 cosplay costumes to satisfy your fantasy.
