What comes to mind when you think of Santa Claus, snow, reindeers and presents??

I think of Christmas season at Resorts World Genting and all the countless shopping I can do!!

I always minded the fact that all shops in Singapore always close at 9.30pm sharp, especially when I am contemplating over the latest Prada or Coach bag and the store just have to close its doors.

I am going to book a ticket to Resorts World Genting soon because from 9 November 2012 to 31 December 2012,  all the shops in First World Plaza will be open from 10am to 1am, there is no better time to do my Christmas shopping than now!

Since Christmas season is approaching, it is an ideal time and place to do your Christmas shopping. I always enjoyed shopping at Resorts World Genting for the very fact that the exchange rate is good!!

What lengths will I go to keep my favourite pet by my side forever?

I had quite a few pets but none is close to me than my pet rabbit which died 2 years ago. I buried it at  

the park near my home. However, if I could turn back time and have the exact same solution as young 

Victor who harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back, I would definitely do all I can

and spend any amount of money. I will make sure that nobody stops me or prevents me and I will 

clone my pet by multiples to ensure that I am never lonely ever again.


I would bring it everywhere I go and keep it with me and feed it well and make sure that I would never

have to witness its death all over again. It will be with me through life as I find ways and means to

ensure its longevity and feed it with the best nutrients.


I am touched by young Victor's love for his best friend and I can associate with the same feeling.

How will I enjoy Genting if I was a celebrity?

First and foremost,if I were a celebrity, I would go for a 5D4N trip to Resort World Genting together with my awesome celebrity blogger friends like Beatricetan,Bunbunmakeuptips, Shiberty and Typicalben.

Once I am at Genting, I would head to Genting Shopping Centre located at Genting Hotel to buy some oversized sunglasses so that I can slide them on and smile like I am having the time of my life.

I will also shop for designer labels and accessories at First World Plaza for my clubbing party in the evening.

My make-up artist and stylist will ensure that I will have A-list hair and look fabulous before I step out of the hotel suite for the party.

For my hotel suite, I will also have a "diva" list like all celebrities do. For instance, must have extra pillows, my favourite lavender aromatherapy oil to help me sleep and tinted windows to avoid the paparazzi. 

Before I head out in the evening to the club(I am going to book the entire club for me and my friends to enjoy), I will ensure that my personal assistant personally invite my friends to party.

All expenses that evening at the party will be paid by me as I practice my autograph by signing my name off on the bill.

To end the evening with a bang, I will try my luck at the VIP room in the casino with my bodyguards to ensure that if I do strike the jackpot, I am safe from any mishaps.

The next morning, I will definitely be up and about to spend the day at Genting theme park with my fellow celebrity blogger friends, screaming my lungs out on the rides to sober up from the partying the night before.

To ensure nobody recognizes me, I will wear a prosthetic nose and throw on a jet black long hair wig(I currently sport short hair.) and accessorize myself with a out of shape straw hat and scarf and long boots to cover my supermodel legs in the cooling Genting weather.

To celebrate my happiness that I am in the company of such awesome good friends,for dinner that evening, I will dine at the VIP restaurant that is located at Highlands Hotel, Level 2. 

My friends and I will book a room while we savour signature dishes like tom yam prawns, green curry chicken, stir-fried prawns with buttermilk, shark's fin with spicy superior shark's fin bone stock in casserole, steamed marble goby with crispy ginger and garlic before finishing off with the exquisite dessert- Durian Tempura!

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe is now a supper place for all hungry owls!!! Out of the 16 outlets, 13  Xin Wang Hong Kong 

Cafe outlets operates till 4am daily islandwide.

So now there's a place to hang out with friends and eat supper till wee hours in the morning.

Here are the delicious food I had at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe with my friends!!

I truly enjoyed the many games we had that evening. For instance, we played charades and we were split into 2 teams and Brad a.k.a ladyironchef was leading my team while Maureen a.k.a misstamchiak was leading the other team and guess which team won?? Of course, it had to be the team that I was on!

I was paired up with Jayne from Nuffnang to complete the jigsaw puzzle game and I tried my very best but still blogger Daniel Ang and his partner won the game as they were the fastest to complete it!
And they received a limited edition Xin Wang HK Cafe Wee Owls Tee-shirt!

7-ELEVEN-IT'S A STORE AND MORE!!!

I was rushing to the airport on 5 October to catch a flight to Hong Kong. I knew I would be bored on the 4

hour flight, therefore I headed to the Terminal 2 Airport's branch-7-Eleven. I walked a few rounds until I

chanced upon a double covered magazine by Teenage! I was struck by the handsome faces that were on the

cover of the magazine- SHINEE!!!  And who was on the flip cover?? 2NE1 !!!

I am so glad that I am able to bring my dad on a birthday trip as his birthday is on 10 October ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

My father was also reading Teenage magazine. Well, as they say, you are only as old as you think you are!

My dad is young at heart and I am glad I had company for my HK trip + Teenage magazine to accompany me throughout the flight.

The 7-Eleven store stocks quite a number of items and necessities for travelling. I am now assured that if I ever leave out anything that I forget to bring when I travel, 7-Eleven is to the rescue!!

Whenever I am at 7-Eleven, I always head to the magazine section because the rack is so neatly arranged that I can see at one glance what is available.

I like it very much. I wonder how 7-Eleven in Hong Kong looks like??

Hmm....oh ya, did you know that I spent $3 to purchase the Teenage magazine?

I love to travel and I aim to travel at least twice a year or if my schedule allows it. So if I were to win 7-Eleven Leading Brands Contest, I would definitely want to go to Korea to where SHINEE + 2NE1 are!

It is because after reading about them in TEENAGE magazine to kill time on the plane to Hong Kong, I realized that they have put in tremendous effort to get to where they are today. I would love to see the culture and attractions and learn the way of life in Korea.

Although there may be several other destinations I have in mind. Just to share and recommend to my readers, did you know that there are 2 magical destinations where dreams are made of?

Indulge in a Hearty Combination of Gyoza and Nuggets with CP Japanese Crispy Gyoza!!

So I was given 2 packets of  CP Japanese Crispy Gyoza to try and review it.

I immediately fell instantly in love with it ! No kidding! You gotta try it yourself!

It tantalises my tastebuds as it was a mixture of gyoza in a nugget form. My mum took one bite and ask for more. My dad wanted to buy more packets from the supermarket. There is hardly a time whereby you can get a whole family who adores a product but CP Foods has done it!

I am so glad that they are constantly innovating and by putting a simple twist on the japanese gyoza, there is a burst of flavours in your mouth- juicy succulent chicken + fresh cabbage and a golden thin crust. Yummilicious!   

I believe it would be a hit with children and it only requires less than 5 minutes on my HappyCall pan!

There are no preservatives and it can be served at parties ( I shall bring it to the next potluck party that I am invited to!)

Now the all important information-where to lay your hands on this awesome stuff??

CP Japanese Crispy Gyoza is now available at NTUC FairPrice outlets and will be available in all leading supermarkets island-wide at $4.60 per pack. 

Ok, I wanna share my recipe with you so that you can buy a pack of CP Japanese Crispy Gyoza to try it out!

Recipe for HappyCall Pan CP Japanese Crispy Gyoza 

1) Add just a little bit of oil and use one of the gyoza to swipe the oil across the pan to oil it up, save you from using a spatula and also only half the usual amount of oil I use.

2) Place the gyozas close together and shut the cover of the happycall pan.

3) Let it cook for 1 & half mins in low fire and open the cover to check if the base is brown and crispy.

4) Once it is crispy, you can either fry it further by positioning the gyoza on another side and cook for a further 30 secs.

5)By then the gyozas should also be piping hot in the inside, however if you prefer your gyozas to be a bit more moist, feel free to add some water in the pan, max 2 tablespoon and close the lid, and let it steam for 15 secs.

6)Serve some black vinegar and sliced ginger or just some good chilli sauce. If you wanted the black vinegar with sliced ginger, julienne (sliced and cut finely) the ginger slices, and soak in water for at least 1 hour before serve.

Hillsta Amazing Race

I got up early one morning (and I am glad I did) to join the Hillsta Amazing Race organized by Nuffnang and Far East Development.


I was raring to go with my partner, Estella, to conquer the stations of the Hillsta Amazing Race.

The moment I step into the showroom, I was instantly fell in love. I will let pictures do the talking next because it just takes my breath away (both the showroom and the amazing race-well,more of that later)

So about the amazing race, we had a briefing before the actual race. We were given a game card for 6 stations and had to perform certain tasks to earn Hillsta dollars. It was a test of wit and also endurance as it was a hot scorching afternoon. I had fun and I did not regret going for it as I won an ipad from the lucky draw!

Thank you Nuffnang for the opportunity to participate in such an exciting race and having the knowledge of such an exquisite apartment situated in Choa Chu Kang. I cannot wait to see the development when it is ready- I believe it would be an awesome and popular area for young couples and families! 

CozyCot & ASIENCE Shine Therapy Hair Care - Product Review

There are times when trying a sample product turns you on the actual product for good. My experience with Asience shampoo and conditioner was one of them. I was given some sample bottles to try by Cozycot.

After repeated use, my hair felt soft and manageable. I was an instant convert. 

Do consider trying the Kao Asience shampoo and conditioner. It might work for your hair, you never know.

My favourite Avenger is

IRON MAN!


He is comparable to any other hero however, he may be an arrogant but he is an intelligent man.
When something happens in his life, he rises to the occasion by using his wits and thus, discovers himself in the process.

It therefore inspires every common man that in each of us, there is something within us that allows to bring out the best in ourselves.

Iron Man aka Tony Stark best exemplifies the superhero in my heart and is definitely my favourite Avenger!
