What would make me wake up on a Saturday morning? I would wake up early for things that matter to me!
So on 24th September 2011, I made my way down to Shenton House to attend a workshop on Forex Trading as I was interested to find out how it works and of course,how to make $$$$$.
The educational workshop was conducted by Ms Binni Ong, who is the Chief Trainer for TerraSeeds. She adopted a structured approach and presented the Forex basics in a clear and understandable way. I found it beneficial especially for laymen like me.
So what exactly on earth is TerraSeeds? Is it a place where you plant seeds to grow plants? Well, it can be likened to a place whereby you plant seeds...to grow money trees.
TerraSeeds Market Technician Pte Ltd is an educational provider in Strategies for Stocks, Forex, Futures, Commodities and Options Trading. Their lessons include Technical Analysis, Sophisticated Trading Systems and different methodologies for different instruments. Till date,TerraSeeds has conducted more than 200 classes and trained more than 4000 students. The company is also awarded 2010 Successful Entrepreneur and Singapore Brand Award 2011.

The day I got my unique user ID and password, I quickly downloaded the demo trading system and started trading. Each participant was given $20,000 to begin with. I was so eager that I lost $5,000 on the 1st attempt. I quickly decided to stop and resume the next day. I was thinking "Phew,it was not real money because that was sure painful."
The second time I decided to trade and watch the chart, I fell asleep in front of the computer, trying to monitor and see what was the best time to sell the stocks that I bought. The next morning, I woke up to find that my stocks were making money so I immediately did not hesitate to sell it. I make a pile but shh! I am not telling how much I made but it was a substantial amount.
The next time I tried to log in to the system, the stock market was closed so no trading was done for the day.
The next few days were quiet as I was busy attending events and when I finally came back to trading, I lost some money again! Oh no, I quickly developed a strategy to recoup my losses. However, this time, I was cautious and traded in smaller accounts. Well,it somehow paid off as I consistently made money although it was little but as the saying goes, a little drop makes a mighty ocean. May the best blogger cum trader win!
